Worcester Theatres partner up with local arts and heritage company Crave Arts

Worcester Theatres pride themselves on working with many other arts organisations to strengthen the provision of Arts and Culture in Worcestershire.

One such company they have worked closely with throughout the pandemic is Crave Arts, and they are delighted to announce Crave Arts is now an associate company.

Crave Arts is a Worcestershire based not-for-profit arts and heritage company led by Stephen Wilson and Debbie Birch.  Between them they have over 40 years of experience managing and delivering a range of creative projects with communities in Worcestershire, including writing, visual arts, film-making, theatre and more.

“We are absolutely delighted to be an associate company of Worcester Theatres. Sarah-Jane and her team have been brilliant to work with over the last 15 months. As we move out of the pandemic we are excited to be working with them to deliver further creative projects for Worcester’s communities.” Debbie Birch and Steve Wilson, Crave Arts

Crave Arts have provided online workshops as part of Worcester Theatres’ Creative Winter project to help people stay creative during lockdown; supported emerging writers through their From Whisper to Voice project and put on three unique events with Worcester Theatres.

“Worcester Theatres are really thrilled to have formed an official link with Crave Arts, Debbie and Steve are passionate about their work and Crave Arts’ ethos sits really well with Worcester Theatres continuing Outreach and Participation vision. I look forward to working with them both in the future.” Sarah-Jane Morgan, Chief Executive Officer, Worcester Theatres

Worcester Theatres and Crave Arts’ previous work together has proven very successful and rewarding for Worcester audiences, and we’re excited to see the work they continue to do together as associates.
