New images have revealed how one of Worcester city's gateways would be revitalised as part of a multi-million-pound transformation.
The artist’s impression shows how the former Jaqk’s Chicken takeaway in Foregate Street would be demolished to create a new entrance to the city’s historic Arches.
The image also shows how the entrance to Worcester’s Foregate Street station would be overhauled with new plants and trees.
The work is part of the £4.5 million project to create a new key gateway for the city, with a foot and cycle path created following the line of the Victorian arches, linking Worcester Foregate Street station to The Hive and the River Severn.
Work started in April to refurbish and convert several of the city’s railway arches into studios and workspaces for local artists and creative businesses.
Several businesses have already moved or will be moving into the Arches including an axe throwing venue, deli, barbers, noodle bar and pizzeria.
