Police in North Worcestershire are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision yesterday in Hollywood on the northbound A435.
At around 6pm on Wednesday 19 May, we were called by colleagues from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service who were at the scene of a collision involving a grey Ford Fiesta and a white Ford Fiesta in which the grey Fiesta left the carriageway and struck a tree.
The location of the collision, on the A435 between Beckets Farm and the Maypole resulted in serious injuries to one of the drivers who was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition. The driver of the other car received less serious injuries and has since been discharged from hospital.
The road was closed northbound until midnight and we would ask that anyone with any information who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage to please get in touch with us via our reporting page online or by calling 101 and quoting incident number 598i of 19 May 2021.
