A terminally-ill man from Shropshire who wants to be helped to die has lost his latest legal challenge at the Court of Appeal.

Noel Conway - who has motor neurone disease - is fighting for the right to a 'peaceful and dignified' death.

The 68-year-old used to be a keen hiker, cyclist and skier, but his motor neurone disease means he now spends 22 hours a day on a ventilator.

He wants a GP to prescribe him a lethal dose of drugs when his health deteriorates further.

The retired lecturer says he'll now take his fight to the Supreme Court.
