There are plans to convert a barn into two cottages in Leominster.
Mark Yarnold has asked Herefordshire Council for listed building consent to redevelop the barn next to the Hop Pole in Bridge Street.
The plan is to build the two homes within the existing footprint of the barn with a 2.2m extension to the north west.
Consultants working on the scheme say the scale of the proposal will be similar to that of the existing buildings and pick up the horizontal lines of the nearby eaves.
The homes will benefit from a semi private courtyard and one of them will have a private rear garden.
Windows and one front door access will be located along the main street.
It has been designed with a barrelled roof to keep the agrarian character of the barn.
The plans include increasing the height of the roof until it sits below the neighbouring gable.
People have until April 17 to comment on the proposals which the county council is expected to consider by May 12.
