Echo Hereford are looking for 15-30 Community Support Workers to work in the community supporting a service operating within the Hereford and surrounding areas. This service is to support people over the age of 18 for a short period of Home support. This could be assisting with a fall or crisis at home, temporary illness or permanent disability

You will help with patients regain skills and confidence in completing everyday tasks and activities such as making meals, washing and dressing, helping avoid unnecessary admission to hospital or long term residential care or simply just helping people in the community get back on their feet after a stay in hospital

You will follow the assessed care plans working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and therapy assistants at their home giving the support and therapy needed to improve the patient’s current abilities. This will depend on the needs identified of the initial assessment.
You must hold a full driving licence or be able to be access rural areas

⦁    Full Mandatory Training provided which Includes Medication Training and People Moving and Handling.
⦁    Uniform Polo /Winter Jacket and Tunic
⦁    Full Enhanced DBS
⦁    Mileage paid 0.48 Pence per mile from home address to first place of service back to home.
⦁    Holiday pay

⦁    Continuity of work
⦁    Pension
⦁    Weekly pay PAYE
⦁    37.5 Hours per week to run convectively on a 5 over 7 shift pattern and weekly.  24 hours Rest

Pay

Pay £13.00 per hour Monday – Friday 06:00 -22:00
£15.00 per weekends

Start date 5th September 2022 Full Time Temp to Permanent- 12 weeks competed (Optional)
