Nick Jones has been involved in radio for over two decades and thinks he’s nearly got it right.
He enjoyed a long spell as a mobile/club DJ before becoming a full time radio presenter in 1993.
He was brought up in Mid-Wales, living in Llanidloes.
He began his working career on a Youth Training Scheme in an electronics factory in Newtown moving on to a smelly car parts factory then onto being a car valet at a local garage.
Nick has worked and helped out at various radio stations including Shropshire Radio, Radio Maldwyn and Radio Ceredigion before joining Sunshine as part of the team in 2001.
Nick’s pet hates are:
- Caravans
- Soap operas
- Mondays
- Radio Presenters that go on about music constantly (POPADOODLEDOO) and have nothing else to say.
