"Across the counties that we serve we regularly review our security measures and we will be doing this again today to ensure that all is being done to keep you and your families safe.
"It remains vital that the police and the public work together to combat terrorism. If you have any information about suspicious activity or behaviour you can report it in confidence by calling the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321 or by using the secure form at www.gov.uk/ACT. In an emergency situation call 999."

“Our communities in West Mercia stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Manchester. We share your grief as well as your determination. We will never be broken by terrorism.
“We must also commend our emergency services, who have worked through the night and are still working to deal with the aftermath.”
Gwent Police Chief Constable Jeff Farrar said: ‘On behalf of Gwent Police, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the friends and families of those who have lost loved ones as a result of the terrible events at the Manchester Arena last night."
"I would also like to express my solidarity with Emergency Services across the region, who have shown such commitment and professionalism under the most difficult circumstances, and to all those members of the public who have provided assistance."
"The following emergency numbers have been established for anyone who is concerned for loved ones who may not have returned home: 0161 856 9400 or 0161 856 9900.
