After nine years as Shropshire Councillor for the Highley division Councillor Dave Tremellen has formally resigned as a councillor.
For the majority of that time he served as an independent councillor.
First elected in 2013, Dave served on a number of council committees and was a strong advocate for the people and town of Highley.
We thank him for his service to the council and to his constituents and wish him well for the future.
A request for an election to fill the vacancy must be given in writing by two electors living in the Highley division.
For more information, see the ‘notice of vacancy’ on the Shropshire Council website.
