Trains have been suspended between Hereford and Newport due to a train fire.
Emergency services are responding to the incident on the Welsh Marches line near Pontrilas.
Martyn Brennan, Operations Director for Transport for Wales said: "We can confirm that a fire took place underneath one of our trains today.
"Thankfully no one was hurt and our train crew worked quickly and professionally to get all customers off safely and onward road transport has been arranged.
"Transport for Wales is working closely with our partners in Network Rail to minimise disruption surrounding this incident.
"A full investigation into the cause of the incident will be carried out and we apologise to all those affected."
