The number of new Covid cases in the city fell by more than 40 per cent in the last week, the latest figures show.
Public Health England said a total of 24 cases were recorded in Worcester in the week up to June 3 – a fall of 43 per cent compared to the previous week.
The city’s infection rate is currently 23.7 cases per 100,000 people.
Figures show that as many as 120 cases were recorded in Worcestershire in the same week – a rise of five per cent compared to the previous week.
The county’s infection rate is currently 20.1 cases per 100,000 people.
The biggest rise in the county was in Redditch where 45 cases were recorded in the week – a rise of almost 165 per cent compared to the previous week.
Redditch’s infection rate is currently 52.8 cases per 100,000 people.
As many as ten cases were recorded in Wychavon, which includes Evesham, Pershore and Droitwich, and eight cases were recorded in Malvern Hills.
A total of 17 cases were recorded in Bromsgrove and 16 cases were recorded in Wyre Forest.
A total of nine people were in hospital in Worcestershire with Covid on June 1 – the latest figure available.
One person under the care of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust with Covid was on a ventilator.
More than half of the county’s adults have received two doses of a Covid vaccine according to the latest figures.
NHS England said 243,704 people in Worcestershire had received two vaccines – roughly 52 per cent of the adult population – up to May 30.
The number of people in the county who had received one jab by the end of last week stood at 385,047.
The NHS figures revealed 94.9 per cent of care home residents in Worcestershire have been vaccinated with both doses, with 97.3 per cent of residents receiving just the first Covid jab.
The same figures show 71.6 per cent of staff in Worcestershire’s care homes have received both jabs with 86.4 per cent of staff receiving just the first dose.
