The city's cafe and bakery is one of 71 stores around the country to have shut following the company going into administration.
Patisserie Valerie collapsed yesterday after months of financial issues.
Administrators KPMG announced that 121 of their stores will keep trading, but the remainder would close with immediate effect.
KPMG has confirmed the Hereford branch which was inside Debenham's at the Old Market has closed.
The chain said they'd had discussions with its lenders to try extend their deadline for repayments after allegations of fraud within the business.
Parent company Patisserie Holdings Plc said: "As a direct result of the significant fraud referred to in previous announcements, it has been unable to renew its bank facilities, and therefore regrettably the business does not have sufficient funding to meet its liabilities as they fall due."
