Christmas brought the best gift ever for a local family as they celebrated the arrival of their baby, born at Hereford County Hospital on Christmas Day.
The special Christmas Day delivery, a baby boy called Oliver, arrived shortly after 8pm weighing 6lb 9oz.
Parents Michael and Milena, and big sister Trixie-mae, were given a special Christmas bauble to remind them of the birth in years to come, and Oliver was also given a Christmas hat!
Amie Symes, Associate Director of Midwifery at Valley NHS Trust, said: “It has been such a joyous occasion for the new parents and our fantastic midwives to celebrate the arrival of our special Christmas babies born at Hereford County Hospital on 25 December 2024.”
“Christmas babies have a very special birthday. It was wonderful for our midwives to present the families with their special bauble and Christmas hat.
“Our maternity team wish the families of all babies born both at Christmas and throughout the year, a very Merry Christmas.”
